I have talked a lot about digital cameras on this blog. Well, here are some shots taken with my Cannon PowerShot S2 IS that I think make great Halloween desktops. I have been using them. They are golden silk (banana) spiders taken in Louisiana. Maybe not the scariest spiders if you are familiar with them, but no one wants to run into their huge webs.

I have 2 pet (NOBLE FALSE BLACK WIDOW SPIDERS) I fed them crickets they’re young right now but I can’t wait till one or both become adult males and they can defend themselves very very very very very well against rivals. So I want to know who thinks will win in a fight over territory. My favorite male spider or its ENEMY the male banana spider.
Lovely photos but think I’ll steer clear of Lousiana!
Have enjoyed watching this spider spin many a web in my datura plant. Fascinating.
